It is self hardening repair acrylic that is used in stripper and bearing plates of the dies, spinning / forming gaps, cancelling of undesired holes as well as used for punch bushing in simple cutting and punching dies. Providing suitability at drilling and levelling processes done on filled surfaces.
Mixing Ratio: 5 unit powder - 3.5 unit liquid.
Dosing without measuring tank (as per request).
Mixing: 30 - 35 seconds (yoghurt consistency).
Working Time: At the end of 2 - 2.5 minutes.
Hardening Time: In 15 minutes.
Application: It should be castable consistency. Specified data are in 23°C room temperature and from the beginning of mixing.
Any oil on the stripper plate should be removed. Use solvent (release agent silicon) to avoid sticking. Place the stripper and the matrix correctly and connect to each other. The correct alignment is important for the operation. Using magnetic ‘V’ block for this operation guarantees perpendicularity. Or setting shims can be used to ensure the alignment for punch bushing / matrix. Later, the surface finish works are done. The mixture solidifies and spoils if it is kept for too long.
